After a busy fall which saw the release of my second album High and Low (available now via Cellar Live or Amazon) and a bunch of other fun projects, I'm glad to be finishing off the year touring with NYC pianist Ben Rosenblum. Ben and I first played together last spring and had a blast. The band this time includes Jonathan Chapman on bass and Ben Zweig on drums. Check out my calendar page for the full schedule.

I'm looking forward to a trio tour later this month (July 19-27) with some great musicians, bassist Jonathan Chapman and drummer Ben Zweig. It's always a blast to play with Ben but I don't get to as often as I'd like since he lives in New York. Just finished recording my second album with Ben Paterson on organ and Dave Laing on drums. I'm really happy with how the session went and I'm looking forward getting it out into the world. In the meantime, I'm looking forward to some fun gigs with my quartet coming up in October. We'll be at Resonance here in Montreal for the OFF Festival de Jazz on the 6th, and at Baldachin Inn in Merrickville, Ontario for the Merrickville Jazz Fest on the 14th. The band for both these gigs will be Dave Laing on drums, Mike De Masi on bass and Andres Vial on piano.

I'm really looking forward to playing with the great New York based organist, Ben Paterson and drummer Dave Laing at Upstairs here in Montreal on September 22nd & 23rd. We'll playing a few new tunes of mine and the gig will be followed by two days in the studio to record a new CD!
